Today Sarah and I went out to Suburban Square in Ardmore to play and sing a little. There was a lot of construction going on so I'm not sure if anyone heard us or not, lol (but not really). The few people who awknowledged us gave us positive feedback (a.k.a a thumbs up). It was a lot of fun and we will hopefully be playing in Philly soon.
Today was also the 'premier' of a couple of new cover tunes, Safe and Sound (by Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars), Angel with a Shotgun (by the Cab), Leave the Pieces (by the Wreckers) and Love Alone (by Katelyn Tarver). These will probably be video recorded and uploaded to YouTube in the next couple of months.

Today we decided to get together and just have some fun and take photos of the band. We had a blast and can't wait for our first official shoot with an actual photographer (which will be soon, hopefully)! Credit for today's photos goes to Erin, our guitarist's sister. She was an awesome director, so big thanks to her! Just go to the new Photos page to view today's shoot.

As a fan of the books I was super psyched when I heard The Hunger Games was going to be made into a movie, but as a musician I was even more excited by the soundtrack. The soundtrack (Songs from District 12 and Beyond) features great artists like Taylor Swift, The Civil Wars, Jayme Dee, Maroon 5 and Miranda Lambert. So in honor of the release of the movie I decided to make a quick lyric video for Taylor Swift's new song Eyes Open. Happy Hunger Games and may the odds be ever in your favor!

Today I finally decided to sit down and make the Not So Normal Twitter page. Signing up was a breeze, but how do I use the stupid thing? I should know how to do this, I'm not some technologically ignorant old lady in a nursing home. I won't pretend that I'm some kind of social butterfly, I am pretty introverted, but as a teenager social media and technology should be second nature to me, but oh well. So, sorry but the Twitter page is going to be pretty lame until I find someone less socially awkward than me to figure out.
EDIT: the rest of the band is as useless as me when it comes to Twitter...awesome.

There's really not much to say on the subject, just that you should go like the Not So Normal Facebook page. Yup.
